Hey vrijwilliger! 

Ben jij nog aan het nagenieten van jouw buitenlandervaring via het European Solidarity Corps? Smaakt het naar meer? Dan hebben wij goed nieuws! 

We nodigen je graag uit voor ENCORE For You(th), een gezellig zomerkamp voor internationale en Vlaamse vrijwilligers.  

Wat mag je verwachten?  

We komen samen in de Genkse natuur voor een interculturele vijfdaagse met internationale en Vlaamse vrijwilligers.  

  • Je leert jongeren uit heel Europa kennen die in België vrijwilligerswerk doen 
  • Je ontmoet andere Vlaamse vrijwilligers die naar het buitenland trokken 
  • Samen beleven jullie een zomers avontuur en maken vrienden rond het kampvuur 
  • Je ontdekt Genk en de omgeving 
  • Je neemt deel aan interessante sessies 
  • Je deelt herinneringen aan je vrijwilligersavontuur en doet inspiratie op voor je volgende Europese plannen 

Praktische info 

Wanneer: 20 tot 24 juni 2025
Waar: regio Genk 

ENCORE For You(th) start op vrijdag 20 juni rond 19u en eindigt op dinsdag 24 juni rond 14u. Liefst ben je de volledige vijf dagen aanwezig. Lukt dat niet voor jou? Geef een seintje aan Thomas, via en geef duidelijk je beschikbaarheden aan in het registratieformulier.  

ENCORE For You(th) is gratis. Je vervoer, verblijf, maaltijden en activiteiten worden voorzien door JINT, het Nederlandstalige nationaal agentschap voor het European Solidarity Corps. Als je niet de volledige vijf dagen aanwezig kan zijn, betaal je je vervoer zelf. 

Schrijf je snel in, want de plaatsen zijn beperkt. Je kan je ten allerlaatste inschrijven op 6 juni. Je ontvangt alle praktische info over het ENCORE For You(th) tien dagen voor de start van de vijfdaagse.

Hi there volunteer!

With this project, we’d like to offer you the opportunity to join us on a relaxed camp experience in Genk. From 20 to 24 of June, we’ll organize a summer project for all who would like to take part. This activity is not obligated in your learning cycle as a European Solidarity Corps volunteer, feel free to come if you’d like to!

At the ENCORE For You(th) project there will be:

  • The chance to get to know other volunteers (from other on-arrival trainings)
  • Time to have fun, with loads of free time
  • Sessions about your life in Belgium, your projects and anything you’d like to offer yourself
  • Time to plan the summer together, which places to visit and which festivals you should go to.
  • Moments to explore the surroundings of Genk, on foot or on canoo.
  • Get to know Belgium, through the eyes of other Belgians

We expect to start the program on 20/06 around 19h and end the project around 14h on 24/06. We prefer if you can come all 5 days, if not, please inform and make sure you mention this in your registration form. Only volunteers who join from Friday until Tuesday will be reimbursed. If you cannot join for all 5 days, no problem, but you’ll have to pay for your own travels.

Register now, for a chillaxed ESC experience! There are limited spots and they are given on a first-come-first-served type of registration system. Please register by 6/06 midnight the very latest. You’ll receive all practical info ten days before the project. Make sure you inform your coordinator about this event.
